For wood rafter:SPC-FA-H020, SUS 304 stainless steel, sharp pointed head.
This is the pointed-head version for a wooden beam. The self-tapping thread drives down through the corrugated or trapezoidal sheet into the timber rafter beneath, pulling the sheet tight against the EPDM gasket as it goes. It ships pre-assembled with flange nuts and mates with an L-feet bracket with hanger bolt for roof mount or a SUS 304 connecting plate to carry the rail. 2. For steel purlin, self-drilling: SPC-FM-020, zinc-nickel alloy body, stainless steel M10 flange nuts.
This is the version for a steel beam, and it removes a step from the job. The self-drilling head cuts through the metal sheet and into — or through — the steel purlin with no pilot hole. Three stainless steel M10 flange nuts come fitted: the bracket locks between the upper two so height can be corrected on uneven purlins, and the lower nut clamps the sheet. Zinc-nickel alloy is chosen because the head has to cut steel and keep its corrosion resistance. Rated for metal roofing from 0 to 60 degrees, also used on stone-coated steel roofs. 3. For steel purlin, fast install: A2 stainless steel bolt, adjustable clip end, SUS 304 fastening parts, fast installation with the pre-drilled
Same steel-beam application, different install logic. Push the bolt through a pre-drilled hole in the purlin, shake it, and the adjustable clip at the end swings vertical and hooks the bottom flange — replacing the traditional lower nut. The set ships complete: bolt with clip, EPDM rubber, stainless steel plate with EPDM pad, and flange nut. Specify this one when a drill jig is already on site.
