Product Description:
Sealing strip for solar panels: Crafted from high-quality dense EPDM rubber, it’s perfectly suited for solar panel installations. Featuring T shape, it effectively covers wide gaps and enhances waterproof performance, while boasting both flexibility and reliability. Its advantages include durability, easy installation, excellent flexibility and light weight, ensuring minimal resistance when solar panels expand due to heat from sunlight.
Made of premium EPDM material, this solar panel rubber sealing strip offers great anti-aging properties and a long service life, making it ideal for long-term outdoor use. It’s specifically designed for sealing gaps in photovoltaic solar panels.
Installation step:
1. First, clean the solar panel edge and the sealing strip installation surface, thoroughly removing any dust, debris, oil, and other debris. Wipe with a dry cloth until dry and clean to prevent debris from affecting the seal’s fit and sealing effectiveness.
2. Based on the solar panel edge dimensions and the seal strip installation method (e.g., embedded, adhesive, etc.), precisely position the seal strip along the panel edge to ensure it is not misaligned. Then, secure the seal strip according to specifications, applying gentle pressure to the surface to ensure a tight fit against the solar panel edge, ensuring no gaps or warping.
3. After securing, first inspect the overall seal strip for looseness. Then, carefully inspect the seal strip for cracks, deformation, or localized bulges. Verify the seal’s fit and sealing. Any abnormalities should be adjusted or reinstalled promptly to ensure the seal meets operational requirements.

1. What is sealing strip for solar?Sealing strip for solar is a flexible sealing component with a T-shaped cross-section, specifically designed for photovoltaic modules. Its core function is to fill the gaps between the photovoltaic module and components.2. Where is sealing strip for solar mainly used in a photovoltaic mounting system?Main application areas: The joint between the photovoltaic module frame and the aluminum alloy bracket, and the splicing gaps between photovoltaic arrays. It is especially suitable for photovoltaic brackets/frames with a slotted structure. The vertical section of the T inserts into the slot for fixation, while the horizontal section conforms to the sealing surface to prevent displacement.3. What are the core advantages of sealing strip for solar?
Firstly, it can prevent rainwater and dew from seeping into the gaps between the modules and the support structure, avoiding support corrosion or short circuits in the module junction box;
Secondly, it can prevent sand and salt spray from entering the gaps, reducing oxidation and corrosion of metal components;
Thirdly, it can absorb slight displacement of the photovoltaic modules caused by wind and temperature changes, avoiding hard contact wear;
Finally, it also can reduce air convection between gaps, reducing heat accumulation on the back of the modules, indirectly improving power generation efficiency. - Leave Message
