The Z-Bracket is an elevated solar panel mounting bracket. It is built for trapezoidal metal roofs with top rib widths of 20–40 mm. Its Z-shaped profile lifts panels above the roof surface. This creates an air channel underneath. Air flows through and carries heat away. The result is simple: cooler panels, higher efficiency, and more energy over the system’s life.
Solar panels do not like heat. When cells get hot, power output drops.
A trapezoidal metal roof gets very hot in summer. When panels sit flat against this surface, two things happen:
Heat transfers from roof to panel. The hot metal radiates into the panel backsheet. Cell temperatures rise well above ambient.
